HEY GUYS!!!
So what's up?! I'm back and ready for action! I know, I know, I haven't talked to you guys in, like, forever, but STILL... I can't even hear the crickets. OK! Nevermind then. Anyways, I have really amazing news!!!
I don't know who all has heard of this, but my high school marketing and design class is helping to stage an assembly for the 'One Stop Prom Shop', a compilation of local prom/dress/tux/etc. shops at discounted prices, including coupons and great deals and door prizes. Anyways, I'm part of the assembly team helping formulate the GAME SHOW. That's going to be at the end of the show, after the stop animation video and morph suit dance and right before we give out AMAZING prizes to our amazing student audience.
Anyways, we're going to have three contestants, a judge, and a couple prizes. Because I KNOW you guys are excited to know MORE...I'll tell you. Each question will come with a challenge of some sort that has to do with getting ready for prom and such. Things like a tie tying race, a makeup-doing race, and a dance off! The person who finishes first or does the best presses the buzzer and answers a who, what, when, where type question. It'll be hilarious!
Anyways, we've gotten our contestants, our judge, and our 'secret prize'...a date with another student whose name will not be disclosed during the game. (Wink wink) I'm super excited to be working on this project, because it's going to take a lot of practicing, redoing, editing, etc. I rarely watch gameshows though, so it's going to be a challenge to NOT make it cheesey with any of my ideas. I'm sorry, I just love cheesy comedy. It's an illness...sort of like bad puns...but that's besides the point!
Well, that's all I've got for you right now. I'm excited to talk to you guys again! You're my only source of excitement right now...literally. Well, I gotta go go GO...mostly because I'm starving and it's almost time for lunch.
BYE!

Ma Bizznizz
Two posts in one day! Incredible, I know! I just had to share this wit you guys!
Now, you guys may or may not know that I've been searching for a business to design and market for. I needed one by last Friday and it was starting to look like I wouldn't find one in time. My teacher, thankfully, had one for me. Our high school library has projects every year for us to work on, and I went down and talked o the librarian about it. She hasn't given me all the info yet because she's not heard back from the marketing company she's getting everything from, but it's looking like I'll be designing something for the new E-books we'll be getting in the library soon. I'm super excited, though I don't often use E-books myself. She said something about a really good Blog Post (Ironic I know), and maybe an online flyer or pamphlet. So things are looking up.
Also, I've got super awesome AMAZING news! Another guy I'll be working with has contacted me back. He owns a Deli with his sixteen kids. (Crazy I know!), and due to health reasons he said to contact him about the potential project after the holidays. So I've got that in the works too! Happy day!
Anyways, that's about it for the business end of things. I'm seriously worn out today. I worked all weekend at a Chrstmas Tree Farm hauling trees and shaking and bailing them. (Shaking the dead needles out and putting them into netting). So yeah, every part of my body hurts right about now, but I feel great. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
I'ma hop off here for today and I'll catch you cats on the wild side! Ba-bye!

Year Book Covers!
Hey guys! It's been a while, I know. I missed you all! Or whoever bothers to actually read my posts at least. But still, lots of love to you guys! So let's get this going, huh? You might have figured it out already, since the title is self-explanitary, but our Design and Marketing Class has been working on Year Book cover designs for the school's yearbook team.
I probably won't win, and I know that. I'm not that great at desiging things like that yet, since a yearbook design sort of has to be a bit more traditional. I love symmetry though, and I found the rectangle tool on photoshop, so there was a lot I could do with black, yellow, and white...sometimes grey, but not usually. You'll see that I sort of went shape crazy with these. I do hope you enjoy them though. They remind me more of posters, rather than year book covers, but I never buy yearbooks, so I don't really have a good idea of what to design.
Just be prepared...because there are a lot of them...no, seriously, there are... My favorite was probably the one with the tiger on the yellow background. You'll know it when you see it. It was just perfect for what I wanted, though I forgot to put yellow around CFHS along the side.
